I have clipped a 6 min section out of a typical training call where we are talking about how to get athletes to take advantage of the empowered state of “gratitude” to make the changes they need to make.

Granted, gratitude is a simple concept right? It’s not hard to understand but it is hard to integrate.

Most mental coaches give it a pass somewhere in a session and think they’ve done the job for their client. Unfortunately, they usually just scratch the surface and no real benefit is gained and the client waits for the next tidbit.

Not us mental toughness trainers.

Here’s a small example of an integration discussion for a simple concept like gratitude.  We went even further on this call but this should give you an idea of what I mean with integration.
